Sweet Spring Flower

But when I looked upon the bank
My wandering glances fell
Upon a little trembling flower
A single sweet bluebell..

  4. I love your Ann Bronte quotes used in these two posts. This one would make a cherished bookmark. I like how you framed the bluebell and now you inspire me to pick up a Bronte and read.

  5. Joan, you are such a kind and gentle soul. I wish there were more of you in this world. I've spent the most relaxing and thoughtful half hour enjoying your posts. It's been a hectic period in our house because we've been involved with a charity scholarship event. Managed to get a post out but otherwise went with the flow.

I've never seen a field of bluebells. So beautiful! And I fell in love with Rangi. What a lovely lady! Perhaps, when you have time, there's a blog about when the moko is tattooed on. Ceremonies? I confess to an admiration for the Maori and their language.

The weather channel here said that rough weather was headed your way. Still, the photos surprised me. A bit rougher than I had thought.

Thank you for a lovely respite. And, yes, I think the butterflies are symbolic of a personal metamorphisis. Have a great weekend!

  6. Tony - you will know about bluebells..a sea of gorgeous blue and the scent! I have never seen them like that in NZ. Not cold enough where we live I think.
    Thank you Talon, Grethe,and Vicki.
I thought of Bronte Penny..because bluebells are so English to me.
Thank you Kitty Howard for calling and for the wonderful comments. Love to you all.
