At last I have finished my bed quilt.
You would not believe how I have procrastinated over the making of this quilt.
All because of my new sewing machine.
I have mastered the sewing machine!!
Would you believe I was being too cautious, using a slow speed.
I guess I was cautious because the new computerised machine scared me.
Now I have the machine going full speed..
and not one broken needle.
The machine and I are friends at last.
I wanted the quilt to be soft colours to go with my light room. You would not believe how I have procrastinated over the making of this quilt.

I am so happy. I can now get on with other projects I have planned.
Spring is here and it is a very good time to be starting afresh.
What lovely soft colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks Catherine. You have inspired me to learn hand quilting. I have a lot of UFO's on hand though. In fact I have plenty to last well into my retirement I think.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful quilt and peaceful spot to rest your head. Congratulations on your finished project, a job well done, AND a new friend - your sewing machine. I admire those of you who quilt and sew as sewing is not my best talent. Lovely, Joan.
