Fickle spring has been surprising us
with rain showers followed by sunshine.
Just when you think it is perfect for a walk..
down comes the rain.
The season of spring is full of mischief!

I returned to the river and found the waters still high.
No sign of the walking paths yet.

The rowers were out training on the swift flowing river

and the ducks were quite happy mucking about in the flooded fringes..

but how would you fancy a picnic tea with me... at the picnic table... in the river!
