The Place Where Bluebells Grow...

There is a silent eloquence
In every wild bluebell.
That fills my softened heart with bliss
That words could never tell.

Ann Bronte

  2. One of my favorite memories of England is the bluebells in the woods. I'm glad you have some there too. I've planted them and they survive and bloom but don't spread.

  3. Ours are certainly not as wonderful as the bluebells I saw in England and Ireland...acres of blue beneath the trees..and the scent.

  4. I'm so glad you found some bluebells - after the enticing promise of that plaque! I can feel the freshness of that slope, and rather like the way they are sprinkled over it. And the Ann Bronte poem is exquisite. I will add it to my spring folder.
