So today is Earth Day.
I am grateful for the veges growing in my little garden.
I am grateful for my family and friends.
I am grateful to be living in this beautiful country
Aotearoa New Zealand.
I am grateful for the gift of awareness that allows me to see all this...

  1. Thanks, Joan, for stopping by my blog. My hub and I love bok choy...actually, I adore greens. Think it's from growing up on the Louisiana farm as my grandfather always grew rows and rows of greens, YUM! Yes, blogging does open up the friendly skies...my hub and I married in Hawaii years ago, returned twice to live briefly (he was in the military) and had always thought to visit your way. New Zealand is the darling of our travel mags...and people say it's even more beautiful in person. But we live on the East Coast now (Virginia) and, so, gravitate towards Europe, going there in June...what can I say? we've got travelin' feet!!

  2. You just sound the loveliest person. You must come to NZ one day! It is at the end of the world that is for sure. Like you I love travelling in Europe and the UK. I have only once been to the US - San Francisco - and loved it. In fact one of the most amazing trips I've done was the plane ride from London to San Fran. over Iceland, Greenland, Canada and America. I was glued to the window and 10 hours seemed like 1 as I watched the earth below. I will never forget...
