While making my bed this morning
I thought of Jean.
Many years ago, my dear sister-in-law Jean
gave me these embroidered pillowcases as a birthday gift.
I loved the femininty of them, the feel of the cotton,
and so began my love of white cotton linen.
It is lovely how a simple gift always brings to mind the giver.
A simple gift can have a lasting influence. The perfect gift.
