So where was I taken?
Steve and Ann whisked me off in their little lime green 1964 VW Beetle convertible
to Hamilton Gardens for a picnic afternoon tea of scones and tea in The English Garden.
Gorgeous Son and Beautiful Almost Daughter-in-law.
Before one becomes a Mrs B one must prove oneself capable
of baking a good scone.
Ann passed the test with flying colours!

After the picnic we were entertained by a good old "Agapantha" Christie Murder. Steve and Ann were serenaded with a spontaneous love song and while waiting for the play to begin they had a game of badminton on the lawn ..lots of fun. (It is Arts Festival time in the gardens.) The day ended with a lovely dinner in town. Thank you S & A ... you are wonderful!
