I walked to the bank this morning and to cheer myself
on this grey day I popped into the shop in Frankton that sells saris
to gaze at the beautiful bright colours and the bead work.
I said to the shopkeeper.. imagine what they would cost if made in New Zealand.
He threw his arms in the air and exclaimed..
"Ooh!! Thousands!!"
I am just giving a thought to the sewers who stitched these beads..

being a stitcher myself, it's impossible to imagine making this and selling it- at all! yes, we do not value the hands that crafted this in India's lands.
