DeleteI was going to ask if you were reading "Cutting for Stone" when I saw Verghese's name on your magnificent doodle, Joan, but now I see it off to the side. I just picked it up for our March book discussion. I'm anxious to get started on it, but, have one I'm finishing first. We tend to read similar books, you and I. I've had Old Filth on my TBR list, my Amazon list, and my mind ever since you mentioned it some time ago.

We read Cutting For Stone at bookclub Penny, and everyone loved it and felt it was one of the best books we've read. We had a very long and interesting discussion.
