and hydrangea too..
as blue as the
eyes of Willow the cat
as blue as the robes of a Virgin Mary
at her time of Epiphany..
may this summer song of blue tranquility
echo in that virgin space
within my soul
where no one goes
but
Sempiterna
and
me..
All photos taken early this morning at Lake Rotoroa, Hamilton.
Wow! How exotic. We have only snow and snow, a lot of snow...;)))
ReplyDeleteSuch magical photos and words J, I agree, blue is peace and tranquility.
ReplyDeleteI thought for a moment I'd been dropped into heaven. I love your new banner with those lovely hydrangeas. Then there were the agapanthus as well. There are an annual here and an expensive one at that, so, it is pleasurable to see so many amassed. Just what I needed on a very cold day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new banner and lovely post - oooh it's so good that you're back! Blue is also the colour of Eve's eyes (and her father's, though I don't look into them nearly enough!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. In every way.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Joan...blue is one of those fabulous, layered, character-filled colors.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful your blog is looking - so soothing on these hot days to dip into your blue world Joan.
