families waiting for the rescue at the mine...in the papers..on tv..


 a mother's face
waiting for news of her son...

hope
sits
tight bundled
in my chest

shock

i have a new name
sadness
sadness
becomes who i am

washes over
my physical
self
sadness
and
fear
for what may unfurl

hope

 sits tight bundled
within me
