It is really chilly outside, and raining, but my house is nice and warm.
Friend Kay is popping in for a cup of tea
and I've made pinwheel scones.
Some essential oil is wafting from its little burner.
I'm listening to the radio and doodling today's doodle.
I'm happy!
First day of the Winter school holidays.
I hope the mums have lots of indoor activities ready for boisterous children!

Yum, your pinwheels look fantastic! Just right for a day like today.
ReplyDeleteThose pinwheel scones look delicious and I'm sure you had a lovely tea. It is 80°F here, cloudy and quite humid, but, I sit here with a piping cup of freshly brewed tea . . . and thinking of those scones. Scones are popular here as well, Joan, but those look to be a treat for the senses.
ReplyDeleteThank you M and L. They have lots of spice, raw sugar and toasted sliced almonds and cranberries. I cut them quite slim so they would be crusty. Mo always liked scones a bit crunchy! Well browned.
