I've been in my "studio" all day making aprons for Annie Gee's
50's Hen Party on Saturday.
Don't you love the pincushion doll sister Shirley made for me.
It's late and I did my daily doodle just now.
I hope it doesn't give my bad dreams!

I envy you your studio. I have a small space in the conservatory for my crafts but can't work in there in this cold weather.
ReplyDeleteYour 'doodles' are fascinating. Is it a particular technique or do you have a natural talent for drawing? I find it impossible to render 3D in 2D form, my strength is a good sense of colour and skills I was taught in Primary School.
Have fun at the Hen Party.
Thank you Hesadevil for your comments. I have been a doodler all my life I think. Lots of practise at boring staff meetings! I was delighted to come across zentangles to find I am not alone!
ReplyDeleteI have an online friend who is a zentangles fan. Some of your doodles remind me of Aubrey Beardsley's work - the Peacock Skirt comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteI looked up Aubrey Beardsley's prints and ooh thank you. You inspire me to keep going. Nothing like aiming for the stars!
